Mr. Bean Cake And Teddy Bear in Real Life

NEWS UPDATE

The chocolate cake we've 'Bean' craving for 😋

This 28-year-old Mr. Bean fan turned the classic chocolate cake baked by Mrs. Julia Wicket, the landlady of Mr. Bean in the animated series, into a reality.
Jacee Uy said she has been watching the comic show since she was little. She even has her own "Teddy" who also had a slice of the cake.
"Super relieved ako whenever I watch it. One night I was watching again the animated series then nakita ko 'yung chocolate cake na I've been craving for since I was a kid," shared Jacee.
She then decided to search online how to make the cake. She even sought help from someone in Malaysia for the recipe. And to make sure that she imitates the look of the cake, she used Belgian chocolate "para talagang achieve ‘yung nasa cartoon 😂," she said.
The double-layer chocolate cake topped with the glossy chocolate ganache looked spot-on.

Since posting the cake on social media, several people have reached her asking if she would sell it. Some even offered to pay any amount just to taste the cake. However, she has not entertained any requests yet.

"Sabi ko sa kanila hindi siya commercial cake. Kaya medyo pricey siya. Kasi we selected the best and well-picked ingredients... I told them na I will accept it lang kapag sila magpi-pick up and hindi through any delivery app," Jacee said. She lives in Imus, Cavite.

"It's something you should really handle with love and care," she added.

Jacee is not a professional baker but she said that Mrs. Wicket's cake was the one that inspired her to make her first cake, which turned out "exactly just how I imagined it. Everything is perfect," she wrote in her post. (Photos courtesy of Jacee Uy, screenshots from Mr Bean/Youtube)
