94 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 78 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY

As of 7PM today, October 30, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region's total number of COVID-19 cases at 6,680, total recoveries at 5,716 (85.57%), and total COVID-19 deaths at 61 (0.91%). This brings the total active cases to 903 (13.52%).

A total of 94 new cases were recorded out of 830 laboratory samples tested in two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of  628 laboratory results. Of these, 550 are negative and 78 are positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 202 laboratory results. Of these, 173 are negative and 29 are positive for COVID-19 (with 16 new cases and 13 reswabs).

The 94 new confirmed cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:
