46 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 22 RECOVERIES RECORDED ON SUNDAY
As of 7PM ton Sunday, October 4, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 4,930, total recoveries at 4,200 (85.19%), and total deaths at 46 (0.93%). This brings the total active cases to 684 (13.87%).
A total of 46 new cases were recorded out of 198 laboratory samples tested in one (1) of the COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the DWHVL.
The DWHVL has released a total of 198 laboratory results. Of these, 129 are negative and 69 are positive for COVID-19 (with 46 new case and 23 reswabs).
The 46 new cases are from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:
