Richard I Gomez of Ormoc City Favors Temporary Chinese Travel Ban



JUST IN| Ormoc City Mayor Richard I Gomez favors TEMPORARY TRAVEL BAN on Chinese Nationals from China to help stop the 2019  #NCoV from speading. This is just after the first case of the Novel Coronavirus has been confirmed by the Department of Health and World Health Organization PH yesterday afternoon. Where a Chinese National woman that had been infected by the NCoV traveled to Hongkong then Cebu City and Dumaguete City and to Manila from Wuhan, China from January 20-25 of this year.

Nearly 10,000 have been infected by the NCoV, mostly from China and nearly 250 people have been confirmed dead by the disease.

Meanwhile, authorities from all over the world are looking for possibilities of Chinese Teavel Ban amid the rapid incline of Virus cases. Many countries with conformed cases like US, Sri Lanka, to name a few had already placed Travel Bans on Chinese Nationals going in to these countries.
