LOOK: DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #211
As of 4PM today, October 11, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 339,341, after 2,502 newly-confirmed cases were added to the list of COVID-19 patients.
Note: Of the 2,502 reported cases today, 2,106 (84%) occurred within the recent 14 days (September 28 - October 11, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (650 or 31%), Region 4A (492 or 23%) and Region 3 (203 or 10%).
Of the 83 deaths, 24 occurred in October (29%), 21 in September (25%) 23 in August (28%) 9 in July (11%) 2 in June (2%) 1 in May (1%) 2 in April (2%) and 1 in March (1%). Deaths were from NCR (39 or 47%), Region 4A (17 or 20%), Region 6 (10 or 12%), Region 10 (5 or 6%), Region 3 (4 or 5%), Region 1 (2 or 2%), Region 7 (2 or 2%), Region 8 (1 or 1%), and CARAGA (1 or 1%).
87 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 35 were recovered cases.
Moreover, 41 cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified as deaths.
15 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on October 10, 2020.
These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation..
