THE LOW PRESSURE AREA EAST OF SOUTHERN LUZON HAS DEVELOPED INTO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION.
• Location of center (4:00 PM today):
The center of Tropical Depression was estimated based on all available data at 2,125 km East of Central Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) (16.1°N,141.4°E).

• Maximum Sustained Winds:
45 km/h near the center.

• Gustiness:
Up to 55 km/h 

• Movement:
Moving North Northwestward at 15 km/h.

1,875 km East of Central Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) (16.5°N, 139.1°E)

135 km West of Legazpi City, Albay (13.3°N, 122.5°E)

• Track and intensity outlook:
 The Tropical Depression will move northwestward or west-northwestward today through Thursday, then southwestward by Friday towards Bicol Region-Eastern Visayas area. On the forecast track, it may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow evening or Thursday. 
 The Low Pressure Area outside the PAR developed into a Tropical Depression at 8:00 AM today. It is forecast to intensify into tropical storm category in the next 72 hours. 

• Hazards affecting land and coastal waters:
 This disturbance is not affecting the weather over any portion of the country at this time. 
Other information:
 Once inside the PAR, the Tropical Depression will be given local name “ROLLY”.

The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to monitor for the next update on this weather disturbance to be incorporated in the Public Weather Forecast at 4 AM tomorrow and in the next advisory at 11 AM Tomorrow.
