TACLOBAN CITY, LEYTE PHILIPPINES:
8 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 22 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 2PM today, October 11, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 5,278, total recoveries at 4,596 (87.08%), and total deaths at 51 (0.97%). This brings the total active cases to 631 (11.95%).
The DWHVL has released a total of 136 laboratory results. Of these, 127 are negative and 9 are positive for COVID-19 (with 8 new cases and 1 reswab of EV-4346).
Meanwhile, the EVRCT has no processing and release of laboratory results today.
The 8 new cases are from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:
TACLOBAN CITY (1)
LEYTE (5)
ALANG-ALANG - 1 (Close Contact)
JARO - 2
JAVIER - 1 (LSI)
TANAUAN - 1
NORTHERN SAMAR (2)
CATARMAN - 2
Other details will be provided by the concerned LGU.
