As of 4PM today, October 20, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 360,775, after 1,640 newly-confirmed cases were added to the list of COVID-19 patients.
DOH likewise announces 369 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 310,642.
Note: Of the 1,640 reported cases today, 1,487 (91%) occurred within the recent 14 days (October 7 - October 20, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (366 or 25%), Region 4A (264 or 18%) and Region 10 (124 or 8%).

Of the 17 deaths, 11 occurred in October (65%), 5 in September (29%) and 1 in April (6%). Deaths were from Region 9 (5 or 29%), NCR (5 or 29%), Region 3 (2 or 12%), CAR (2 or 12%), Region 1 (1 or 6%), Region 11 (1 or 6%), and Region 12 (1 or 6%).

34 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 26 recovered cases and 2 deaths have been removed.

Moreover, 4 cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified as deaths.

15 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on October 19, 2020.

These numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.
