TOP STORY: PH CoronaVirus Cases Breached 32,000 - DOH

TOP STORY 
Manila, Philippines - The Department Of Health released thier COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #102 on Wednesday, June 24, 2020
As of 4PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 32,295, DOH Said

In addition to the 357 fresh cases, 113 late cases were also reported today. Today's fresh cases are based on the daily accomplishment reports submitted by only 45 out of 59 current operational labs, DOH added.

DOH likewise announces 214 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 8,656, the agency said on Wednesday

Of the 18 reported deaths, 14 (78%) occurred in June (June 04-17, 2020).  The total cases reported may be subject to change as these numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation, DOH advised.

POSITIVE CASES BREAKDOWN
The number of positive cases are divided in to categories are as follows:

Asymptomatic:
710 people or abour 3.2%
Mild Symptoms:
21,362 people or about 96.2%
Severe Symptoms:
102 people or about 0.5%
Critical Condition:
23 people or about 0.1%

NUMBER OF HOSPITAL BEDS
The total number of beds inside hospitals are divided into subcategories as such:

Ward Beds:
3,156 and 38.43% have been occupied.
Isolation Beds:
9,240 and 35.14% have been occupied
Intensive Care Unit Beds:
1,314 and 36.00% have been occupied
Beds With Ventilators:
1,996 and 20.34% have been occupied

TESTING FACILITIES FOR COVID-19
The number of testing laboratories across the country are at 59 with 45 out of 59 are in operational.

17 - Number of Licensed vGene Expect Laboratories.
163 - Total Number of Laboratory Applications
144 - Number of Laboratories at Stage 3 or Higher
88% - Percentage of Laboratories at Stage 3 and Higher

TEMPORARY TREATMENT AND MONITORING FACILITIES
There are about 53,251 total beds inside Ligtas CoViD Facilities and there are about 3,193 inside MEGA Ligtas CoViD Facilities.

The Department of Health said that they will continue to update on the current situation of the CoronaVirus pandemic in the Philippines.
