DFA: CoViD-19 Cases among Filipinos abroad continues to rise
MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Department of Foreign Affairs has reported an additional 17 new CoronaVirus cases in abroad.

With only a few countries across the four major geographical regions reporting on the status of our people abroad today, the DFA confirms 17 new confirmed cases bringing the total number of Filipinos afflicted by COVID-19 to almost 6,100. The total number of Filipinos who have recovered from the disease is now 2,843 with 1 new recovery recorded in Asia and the Pacific. The total number of fatalities is now 472 with 6 new deaths in Europe and the Middle East. While those who remain under treatment is at 2,776.
As countries, including the Philippines, continue to transition into the “new normal”, the DFA along with its Foreign Service Posts, assures its continued service and assistance to the Filipino people, whenever possible.
