TOP STORY| DOH CoViD-19 Update for July 7, 2020

Manila, Philippines - The Department of Health said on Tuesday they have reported about 47,873 number of CoViD-19 infections in the Philippines.

ON TUESDAY THERE ARE 1,540 ADDITIONAL COVID-19 CASES FOR THE PHILIPPINES.

The Department of Health has recorded an additional 1,540 CoViD-19 cases on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, bringing the total number of CoronaVirus infections in the Philippines at 47,873.
Of the 1,540 additional cases, 547 were from late confirmed cases that was reported in the last 4 or more days while 993 were from “fresh cases” that were released within the last three or less days, it said in an update.
The same say, the DOH has recorded 6 new CoViD-19 related fatalities bringing the total of deaths in the Philippines at 1,309, it added.
The agency also recorded 201 new recoveries bringing the total number of CoronaVirus recoveries at 12,386

As of 4PM today, July 07, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 47, 873.

In addition to the 993 fresh cases, 547 late cases were also reported today. Today's fresh cases are based on the daily accomplishment reports submitted by only 69 out of 74 current operational labs.

DOH likewise announces 201 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 12,386.
Note: 
Of the 6 reported deaths, 3 (50%) occurred in June. The total cases reported may be subject to change as these numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.
