COVID-19 TOP STORIES (JULY 9-14, 2020)

JULY 9, 2020

The DOH reported 1,385 new cases on that day with 0 deaths and 225 new recoveries.

JULY 10,2020

The DOH has reported 1,233 new cases, 42 deaths and 286 new recoveries.

JULY 11,2020

The DFA CoViD-19 Reports....

The DOH reported one of the highest single day recoveries at 807 with1,387 new cases and 12 deaths.

Th DOH has no CoViD-19 bulletin that day..

JULY 13, 2020

The DOH released record high recoveries on that day at 2009 for the bulletin on July 12 ans 4,124 for July 13.

JUlY 14, 2020

Today, the DFA received reports from two countries in Europe and the  Middle East confirming three new COVID-19 cases and another recovery in the Middle East. The DFA also confirms no new deaths due to COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad.

As of 4PM today, July 14, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 57,545.

A total of 634 positive cases are reported based on the total tests done by 65 out of 82 current operational labs.

DOH likewise announces 88 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 20,459.

Note: 

Of the 6 deaths, 4 (67%) in July and 2 (33%) in June. Deaths were from NCR (3 or 50%), Region 7 (2 or 33%), and Region 5 (1 or 17%). Ninety-five (95) duplicates were removed from total case count, of these, two duplicates previously reported as a death have been removed from the case count after final verification. The total cases reported may be subject to change as these numbers undergo constant cleaning and validation.
