NEWS UPDATE

129 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND  34 RECOVERIES ADDED ON TUESDAY

 

As of 7PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 7,494, total recoveries at 6,818 (90.98), and total deaths at 71 (0.95%). This brings the total active cases to 605 (8.07%).

A total of 129 new cases were recorded out of 1,164 laboratory samples tested in two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 982 laboratory results. Of these, 861 are negative and 121 are positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 182 laboratory results. Of these, 174 are negative and 8 are positive for COVID-19.

The  129 new confirmed cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:
