DOH - EASTERN VISAYAS COVID-19 UPDATE 11-13-20

83 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH AND 99 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY

 

As of 7PM today, November 13, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 7,784, total recoveries at 7,023 (90.22%), and total deaths at 74 (0.95%). This brings the total active cases to 687 (8.83%).

A total of 83 new cases were recorded out of 881 laboratory samples tested in two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 652 laboratory results. Of these, 576 are negative and  76 are positive for COVID-19 (with 74 new cases and 2 reswab).

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 229 laboratory results. Of these, 218 are negative and 11 are positive for COVID-19 (with 9 new cases and 2 reswabs).

The 83 new confirmed cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

On the other hand, the new COVID-19 death recorded today is EV-6534, an 80-year-old, female, from Catbalogan City who died on November 11, 2020.
