More infections and recoveries have been reported on Sunday for the 2019 Novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19🦠😷).

On this last day of the month, the DFA reports no new updates on COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad.

To date, the total number of confirmed cases is at 13,960; total fatalities at 950; total recoveries at 8,919; and total DOH IHR verified cases remains at 3,561.

The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.

UPDATE: As of 6:00PM of January 31, 2021, the PNP Health Service recorded 40 new recoveries today bringing the total number of personnel who recovered from COVID-19 to 9,542.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization is 10,185 with 615 active cases.

Ngayong 4 PM, Enero 31, 2021, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 2,103 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 11,653 na gumaling at 80 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 5.2% (27,318) ang aktibong kaso, 92.8% (487,551) na ang gumaling, at 2.05% (10,749) ang namatay.

As of today, January 31, 2021, DOH CVCHD reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 28,884.

DOH CVCHD also recorded 66 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 23,887.

Covid-19 Regional Case Bulletin no.310 (January 31, 2021)
COVID-19 ALERT:

59 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH, AND 156 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
 
As of 9 AM today, January 31, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 14,027, total recoveries at 13,155 (93.78%) and total deaths at 179 (1.28%). This brings the total active cases to 693 (4.94%). 

A total of 59 new cases were recorded out of 832 laboratory samples tested in the two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, and the DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 437 laboratory results. Of these, 413 are negative and 24 are positive (with 23 new cases and 1 re-swab) for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 395 laboratory results. Of these, 355 are negative and 40 are positive (with 36 new cases and 4 re-swabs) for COVID-19.

The 159 new confirmed cases are from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

On the other hand, the COVID-19 related death recorded today is the following:

EV-13603, a 54-year-old, male, from Guiuan, Eastern Samar, who died on January 29, 2021.

There were one (1) case from Babatngaon, Leyte previously tagged as new case that have been reclassified as re-swab upon verification. Hence the adjustment of the total case count.
