Today, the DFA reports spikes in the total numbers of confirmed COVID-19-related statistics among Filipinos abroad, with 189 new cases, 107 new recoveries, and 63 new fatalities recorded among those in Asia and the Pacific, and Europe. The increase is due to late reports from several countries in Europe. 

To date, the total number of countries and territories with confirmed cases among Filipinos is now at 84.

The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amidst the pandemic.

UPDATE: As of 6:00PM of December 21, 2020, the PNP Health Service recorded 35 new recoveries today bringing the total number of personnel who recovered from COVID-19 to 8,371

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization is 8,735 with 337 active cases and 27 deaths.

Ngayong 4 PM, Disyembre 21, 2020, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 1,721 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 82 na gumaling at 10 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 5.1% (23,341) ang aktibong kaso, 93.0% (429,207) na ang gumaling, at 1.94% (8,957) ang namatay.

As of today, December 21, 2020, DOH CVCHD reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 24,682.

DOH CVCHD also recorded 15 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 22,683.

9 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND  120 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY

 

As of 9AM today, December 21, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 10,134, total recoveries at 9,354 (92.30%), and total deaths at 116 (1.14%). This brings the total active cases to 664 (6.55%).

The DWHVL has released a total of 350 laboratory results. Of these, 341 are negative and 9 are positive for COVID-19.

The  new cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

LEYTE (6)

   Baybay City - 1

   Carigara - 2 (Close Contacts)

   Kananga - 2

   Tanauan - 1

SAMAR (1)

   Pinabacdao - 1

EASTERN SAMAR (1)

   Balangkayan - 1
