The DFA reports 96 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 37 new recoveries among Filipinos abroad. The reported spike is due to belated reports from one country in Europe. Meanwhile, no new COVID-19 fatality was reported.
To date, the Middle East and Africa remains to be the region with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, recoveries, under treatment, and fatalities among our nationals. The Americas has the least numbers in all categories compared to other geographic regions, except in the total number of deaths, wherein Asia and the Pacific ranks lowest with a total of only 21.

UPDATE: As of 6:00PM of December 15, 2020, the PNP Health Service recorded 32 new recoveries today bringing the total number of personnel who recovered from COVID-19 to 8,168
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization is 8,611 with 416 active cases and 27 deaths.

Ngayong 4 PM, Disyembre 15, 2020, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 1,135 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 173 na gumaling at 56 na pumanaw.
Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 5.3% (24,160) ang aktibong kaso, 92.7% (418,867) na ang gumaling, at 1.95% (8,812) ang namatay.

65 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH AND 37 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 9AM today, December 15, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 9,571, total recoveries at 8,894 (92.93%), and total deaths at 108 (1.13%). This brings the total active cases to 569 (5.95%).
A total of 65 new cases were recorded out of 816 laboratory samples tested in three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL and OMDC.
The EVRCTC has released a total of 484 laboratory results. Of these, 459 are negative and 25 are positive for COVID-19 (with 24 new cases and 1 reswab).
Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 298 laboratory results. Of these, 268 are negative and 30 are positive for COVID-19.
The Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center, on the one hand, has released a total of 34 laboratory results with 23 negatives and 11 positives.

Figures today show 84 new COVID-19 confirmed cases, 2 new recoveries, and 1 new fatality among Filipinos in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East and Africa. The reported increase is due to belated reports and privacy considerations in one country in the Middle East.
To date, the total number of countries and territories with confirmed cases among Filipinos remains at 82.
The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, remains fully committed to monitoring and assisting our nationals abroad amidst this ongoing battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, the DFA received reports confirming 47 new cases, 42 new recoveries, and no new fatality from COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad. To date, the total number of countries and territories with confirmed cases of affected Filipinos is now at 83, upon confirmation of new cases and recoveries in one country in the Middle East and Africa.
This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases and recoveries to 12,577 and 8,113, respectively.
The DFA continues to keep track of the status of overseas Filipinos and stands ready to assist and facilitate repatriations, whenever possible.

156 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH AND 49 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 11AM today, December 16, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 9,724, total recoveries at 8,943 (91.97%), and total deaths at 109 (1.12%). This brings the total active cases to 672 (6.91%).
A total of 156 new cases were recorded out of 894 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.
The EVRCTC has released a total of 810 laboratory results. Of these, 669 are negative and 141 are positive for COVID-19 (with 136 new cases, 1 reinfection and 4 reswabs).
Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 39 laboratory results. Of these, 38 are negative and 1 is positive for COVID-19.
The Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center has released also a total of 45 laboratory results with 19 positives and 26 negatives for COVID-19.

120 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 47 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 9AM today, December 17, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 9,844, total recoveries at 8,990 (91.32%), and total deaths at 109 (1.11%). This brings the total active cases to 745 (7.57%).
A total of 120 new cases were recorded out of 1,092 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.
The EVRCTC has released a total of 615 laboratory results. Of these, 523 are negative and 92 are positive for COVID-19 (with 91 new cases and 1 reinfection).
Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 461 laboratory results. Of these, 437 are negative and 24 are positive for COVID-19.
Also, the Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center has released a total of 16 laboratory results with 5 positives and 11 negatives.
