Today, the DFA reports 1 new recovery and 1 new fatality among our nationals in Europe and the Middle East and Africa. Meanwhile, no new COVID-19 case was reported.
To date, the Middle East and Africa remains to be the region with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, recoveries, under treatment, and fatalities among our nationals. The Americas has the least numbers in all categories compared to other geographic regions, except in the total number of deaths, wherein Asia and the Pacific ranks lowest with a total of only 21.

Figures today show 81 new COVID-19 confirmed cases, 104 new recoveries, and 24 new fatalities among Filipinos in Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East and Africa. The reported increase is due to late reports due to privacy concerns in Europe and the Middle East.
Meanwhile, previously confirmed new cases, new fatalities, and new recoveries in two countries in Europe were delisted in today’s figures due to clerical error.
The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, remains fully committed to monitoring and assisting our nationals abroad amidst this ongoing battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
