The Philippines continues to see an increase in the number of daily reported Novel Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19🦠😷) as more labs are able to submit their test results because of the long break over the Holidays.

The DFA reports a lone report confirming one new COVID-19 case among Filipinos in Asia and the Pacific.

The DFA personnel in our Foreign Service Posts remain steadfast in partnering with local health authorities and agencies to ensure Filipinos' awareness of and adherence to preventive measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, and commit to tirelessly attending to the needs of our people affected by this pandemic, whenever possible.

Today, the DFA received no new COVID-19 reports among Filipino nationals abroad. 

Compared to last week’s percentages, the total number of COVID-19 recoveries and those under treatment saw a slight decrease to 64.99% and 27.84%, respectively. Meanwhile, there was a slight increase in the total reported fatalities to 9.17%.

UPDATE: As of 6:00PM of January 8, 2021, the PNP Health Service recorded 31 new recoveries today bringing the total number of personnel who recovered from COVID-19 to 8,861.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization is 9,219 with 330 active cases.

UPDATE: As of 6:00PM of January 9, 2021, the PNP Health Service recorded 36 new recoveries today bringing the total number of personnel who recovered from COVID-19 to 8,897.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization is 9,241 with 316 active cases.

Ngayong 4 PM, Enero 8, 2021, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 1,776 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 285 na gumaling at 8 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 5.2% (25,158) ang aktibong kaso, 92.9% (449,330) na ang gumaling, at 1.94% (9,364) ang namatay.

As of today and yesterday, January 8 & 9, 2021, DOH CVCHD reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 25,563.

COVID-19 ALERT:

127 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 198 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
 

As of 9AM today, January 8, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 11,846, total recoveries at 11,001 (92.87%), and total deaths at 139 (1.17%). This brings the total active cases to 706 (5.96%).

A total of 127 new cases were recorded out of 802 laboratory samples tested in the two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 526 laboratory results. Of these, 428 are negative and 98 are positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 276 laboratory results. Of these, 247 are negative and 29 are positive for COVID-19.

The 127 new confirmed cases are from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

The COVID-19 case yesterday tagged as a new case from San Ricardo, Southern Leyte was retagged as a new case from San Francisco, Southern Leyte upon verification. Hence, there were two (2) new cases in San Francisco and no recorded new case for San Ricardo, both from the province of Southern Leyte.

COVID-19 ALERT:

120 NEW COVID-19 CASES, TWO (2) DEATHS, AND 125 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
 

As of 9AM today, January 9, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 11,966, total recoveries at 11,126 (92.98%), and total deaths at 141 (1.18%). This brings the total active cases to 699 (5.84%).

A total of 120 new cases were recorded out of 878 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and the Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 512 laboratory results. Of these, 457 are negative and 55 are positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 294 laboratory results. Of these, 248 are negative and 46 are positive for COVID-19.

The Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center has released also a total of 72 laboratory results with 19 positives and 53 negatives.

The 120 new confirmed cases are from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

Similar with yesterday’s report, the DFA reports no updates on COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad today.

To date, the total number of confirmed cases remains at 13,018; total fatalities at 934; total recoveries at 8,460; and total DOH IHR verified cases remains at 3,487.

The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.

Today, the DFA reports 4 new COVID-19 cases, 1 new recovery, and 1 new fatality among Filipinos in Middle East and Africa. To date, the total number of countries and territories with confirmed cases among Filipinos remains at 84.

The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amidst the pandemic.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the PNP organization is 9,277 with 326 active cases.

103 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 85 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
 

As of 9AM today, January 10, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 12,066, total recoveries at 11,211 (92.91%), and total deaths at 141 (1.17%). This brings the total active cases to 714 (5.92%).

A total of 103 new cases were recorded out of 1,005 laboratory samples tested in the two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 655 laboratory results. Of these, 580 are negative, six (6) are invalid and 69 are positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 350 laboratory results. Of these, 316 are negative and 34 are positive for COVID-19.

The 103 new confirmed cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

As of 9AM today, January 11, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 12,106, total recoveries at 11,238 (92.83%), and total deaths at 141 (1.16%). This brings the total active cases to 727 (6.01%).

A total of 40 new cases were recorded out of 263 laboratory samples tested in one (1) COVID-19 laboratory in the region, the DWHVL. The DWHVL has released a total of 263 laboratory results. Of these, 316 are negative and 34 are positive for COVID-19.
