The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has infected several Overseas Filipinos (OFs) since its outbreak. Here are the latest figures of COVID-19-infected Filipinos abroad.
Today, the DFA received reports on 10 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, no new recovery, and no new fatality among Filipinos in Asia and the Pacific. Moreover, 5 new DOH IHR verified cases recorded in the same region.
Compared to last week’s percentages, the total number of those under treatment saw a slight increase to 27.95%, a slight decrease in COVID-19 recoveries to 64.80%, while total fatalities remained at 7.25%.

The DFA received reports of 8 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, no new recovery, and no new fatality today among our nationals in the Americas and Asia and the Pacific.
To date, the total number of confirmed cases is at 12,308; total fatalities at 860; total recoveries at 7,997; and total DOH IHR verified cases at 3,390.
The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.

Today, the DFA reports one new fatality from COVID-19 among our nationals in the Americas. Meanwhile, 42 new confirmed cases and 35 new recoveries were recorded in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, and Europe. The increase in the number of confirmed cases and recoveries is due to late reports from a country in Europe.
The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amidst the pandemic.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 6.5% (29,001) ang aktibong kaso, 91.6% (409,329) na ang gumaling, at 1.95% (8,709) ang namatay.

121 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH AND 56 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 11AM today, December 12, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 9,421, total recoveries at 8,773 (93.12%), and total deaths at 103 (1.09%). This brings the total active cases to 545 (5.78%).
A total of 121 new cases were recorded out of 925 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.
The EVRCTC has released a total of 614 laboratory results. Of these, 508 are negative and 105 are positive for COVID-19 (with 95 new cases, 1 reinfection, 1 invalid and 9 reswabs).
Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 290 laboratory results. Of these, 272 are negative and 18 are positive for COVID-19.
The Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center on the one hand has released a total of 21 laboratory results with 8 positives and 13 negatives.

86 NEW COVID-19 CASES, TWO (2) DEATHS, AND 36 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 9AM today, December 13, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 9,507, total recoveries at 8,809 (92.66%), and total deaths at 105 (1.10%). This brings the total active cases to 593 (6.24%).
A total of 86 new cases were recorded out of 1,059 laboratory samples tested in two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.
The EVRCTC has released a total of 740 laboratory results. Of these, 683 are negative and 57 are positive for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 319 laboratory results. Of these, 288 are negative and 31 are positive for COVID-19 (with 29 new cases, 1 reswab and 1 APOR).

NO NEW COVID-19 CASES, TWO (2) DEATHS AND 48 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 9AM today, December 14, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 9,506, total recoveries at 8,857 (93.17%) and total deaths at 107 (1.13%). This brings the total active cases to 542 (5.70%).
The three (3) laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL and OMDC have not released laboratory results as of last night. Hence, no new COVID-19 cases were recorded.
On the other hand, the two (2) COVID-19 deaths recorded today are as follows:
EV-7315, a 78/F, from Ormoc City who died on December 10, 2020.
EV-9000, a 62/M, from Ormoc City who died on December 12, 2020.
