141 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH AND 62 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
As of 7PM today, November 11, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 7,634, total recoveries at 6,879 (90.11%), and total deaths at 72 (0.94%). This brings the total active cases to 683 (8.95%).
A total of 141 new cases were recorded out of 1,607 laboratory samples tested in two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.
The EVRCTC has released a total of 1,294 laboratory results. Of these, 1,176 are negative and 118 are positive for COVID-19 (with 117 new cases and 1 reswab).
Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 313 laboratory results. Of these, 288 are negative and 25 are positive for COVID-19 (with 24 new cases and 1 reswab).

On the other hand, the new COVID-19 death recorded today is EV-7105, a 77-year-old, male, from Calbayog City who died on November 10, 2020.
Other details will be provided by the concerned LGU.
One (1) case previously tagged as a new case from Tacloban City was untagged since upon verification the case is from Quezon City. Hence, the adjustment of our total case count.
