84 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH AND 81  RECOVERIES RECORDED ON SATURDAY

As of 7PM yesterday, November 14, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 7,868, total recoveries at 7,104 (90.29%), and total deaths at 75 (0.95%). This brings the total active cases to 689 (8.76%).

A total of 84 new cases were recorded out of 1,297 laboratory samples tested in two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC and DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of  1,027 laboratory results. Of these, 949 are negative and 78 are positive for COVID-19 (with 76 new cases and 2 reswab).

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 270 laboratory results. Of these, 259 are negative and  11 are positive for COVID-19 (with 8 new cases and 3 reswabs).

The 84 new cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

On the other hand, the new COVID-19 death recorded today is EV-6846, a 76-year-old, male, from Abuyog, Leyte who died on November 12, 2020.
