DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH COVID 19 UPDATE 11/17/20

DOH reports 1,148 new cases today, the eighth straight day of less than 2,000 daily cases. This brings the total to 410,718 cases with 28,313 active.

23 deaths, 7,862 total

186 recoveries, 374,543 total

Again, the lower no. of cases today is attributed to lower lab submission.

Ngayong 4 PM, Nobyembre 17, 2020, ang Department of Health ay nakapagtala ng 1,148 na karagdagang kaso ng COVID-19. Samantala ay mayroon namang naitalang 186 na gumaling at 23 na pumanaw.

Sa kabuuang bilang ng mga naitalang kaso sa bansa, 6.9% (28,313) ang aktibong kaso, 91.2% (374,543) na ang gumaling, at 1.91% (7,862) ang namatay.

Note: The relatively lower number of additional cases reported today is attributed to the lower laboratory submission compliance (81.33%) for November 15 compared to the previous day (90.91%), and the previous week (88.27%).

For November 15, only 135/166 accredited labs submitted. Majority (18/31) of the non-submitting labs were unable to submit as they had no operations last Sunday, while 4 were recently-accredited.
