DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS COVID 19 UPDATE 1/22/20

On Sunday, the DFA received no new updates on confirmed COVID-19 cases, recoveries, and fatalities among Filipinos abroad. Meanwhile, there is one new DOH-IHR verified case from Europe.

To date, the total number of confirmed cases is at 11,559; total recoveries at 7,478; total fatalities at 834; and total DOH IHR verified cases at 2,638.

The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.
