NEWS UPDATE:

24 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND  55 RECOVERIES RECORDED OM SUNDAY

 

As of 3PM on Sunday, November 1 , 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 6,775, total recoveries at 5,896 (87.03%), and total deaths at 63 (0.93%). This brings the total active cases to 816 (12.04%).

The DWHVL has released a total of 283 laboratory results. Of these, 254 are negative and 29 are positive for COVID-19 (with 24 new cases and 5 reswabs).

The  24 new confirmed cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities:

LEYTE (12)

   Bato - 4 (3 LSIs,  1 no detail) 

   Dagami - 1

   Hindang - 1

   Isabel - 1 (LSI) 

  Javier - 1 (ROF) 

   Leyte - 1 (Close Contact) 

   Palompon - 2 (LSIs) 

   Tanauan - 1

SAMAR (1)

   Calbayog City (1)

NORTHERN SAMAR (4)

   Catarman - 3

   Las Navas - 1 (Close Contact)

On the other hand, the new COVID-19 death recorded today is a 51/M from Kananga, Leyte who died on October 31, 2020.

Other details will be provided by the concerned LGU.
