32 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 32 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY

 

As of 7PM today, October 25, 2020, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 6,323, total recoveries at 5,310 (83.98%), total deaths at 59 (with 58 COVID-19 related deaths and one (1) non-COVID related death). This brings the total active cases to 954 (15.09%).

The DWHVL has released a total of 270 laboratory results. Of these, 226 are negative and 44 are positive for COVID-19 (with 32 new cases and 12 reswabs).

The 32 new cases are  from the following provinces/cities/municipalities: 

TACLOBAN CITY (2) - 1 Frontliner,  1 HCW

LEYTE (21)

   Albuera - 4 (LSIs) 

   Babatngon - 1

   Barugo - 1 (LSI) 

   Bato - 1

   Baybay - 2 (Close Contacts) 

   Calubian - 1

   Inopacan - 2 (Close Contacts) 

   Kananga - 2 ( 1 HCW,  1 APOR) 

   Matag-ob - 1 (LSI) 

   Palo - 5 (4 Close Contacts, 1 No detail)

   San Miguel - 1

SAMAR (2)

   Catbalogan - 1

   Paranas - 1

NORTHERN SAMAR (7)

   Catarman - 7

Other details will be provided by the concerned LGU.

Meanwhile, the EVRCTC has no processing of laboratory samples today.
