DOH COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN NO.197
As of 4PM today, September 27, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 304,226, after 2,995 cases newly-confirmed cases were added to the list of COVID-19 patients.
DOH likewise announces 19,630 recoveries (18,892 are time-based recoveries, while 738 are routine reports). This brings the total number of recoveries to 252,510.

Note: Of the 2,995 reported cases today, 2,694 (90%) occurred within the recent 14 days (September 14 - September 27, 2020). The top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were NCR (956 or 35%), Region 4A (667 or 25%) and Region 3 (344 or 13%).

Of the 60 deaths, 37 occurred in September (62%), 9 in August (15%) 11 in July (18%) 2 in June (3%) and 1 in April (2%). Deaths were from NCR (29 or 48%), Region 4A (6 or 10%), CARAGA (5 or 8%), Region 10 (4 or 7%), Region 3 (3 or 5%), Region 7 (3 or 5%), Region 11 (3 or 5%), Region 5 (2 or 3%), Region 12 (2 or 3%), Region 6 (1 or 2%), Region 9 (1 or 2%), and Region 4B (1 or 2%).

25 duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 16 were recovered cases.

Moreover, 10 cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified to deaths after final validation.

6 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on September 26, 2020. These labs are:
