DFA Reports More Than 6,000 Casea Abroad
MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Department of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday that they have reported at least 6,021 CoViD-19 cases among Filipinos abroad.

Today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad breached the 6,000 mark with 455 recently reported confirmed cases in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, and Middle East/Africa. A similar increase in recoveries at 336 recovered cases were reported mostly from the Middle East, bringing the total number of Filipinos who have recovered from the disease to over 2,800. While the daily rate of deaths has decreased compared to yesterday’s figures with only 16 new deaths from three countries in the Middle East as well.
The DFA, through its Foreign Service Posts, continues to closely monitor updates and developments on the status of our nationals abroad and continues to assist returning Filipinos affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
