About 76 percent and 36 percent of the reported cases and new recoveries respectively are due to the accumulated late reports from the respective countries in the Middle East which are observing strict confidentiality and privacy laws, DFA said.

The share of total deaths versus confirmed cases declined substantially to 6 percent as compared to 7.7% in the last week, DFA added.

The government agency will continue to update the latest information on the current situation of the Pandemic.
