BREAKING: Philippines CoronaVirus Cases Surpassed 26,000
HEADLINES:
- The Total number of cases infected with CoViD-19 has breached the 26,000 mark.
- The same day, the number of recoveries has also breached the 6,000 mark.
Manila, Philippines - The Philippines has logged another 490 cases on June 15, Momday according to the Department of Health. Of that Number, 348 cases were considered fresh and the remaining 142 were late.
The agency reported another 10 fatalities for Monday and that number logged at 1,098.
The recoveries, however is the highest to date at 298 and the total number who recovered from CoViD-19 is now at more than 6,252.
Among those active cases were 398 (2.1%) asymptomatic, 18,412 (97.5%) have mild symptoms, 61 (0.3%) of those infected have severe symptoms and 17(0.1%) are in a critical condition.
The agency reported that there are 13,597 hospital beds dedicated for those who have tested positive for the virus. There are also 44 total number of RT-PCR capable testing facilities for CoViD-19 (See photos for the breakdown)
A number of temporary treatment facilities also called Ligtas CoViD Facilities. Among those were 50,213 beds are in the regular facilities and another 3,190 beds are in Mega Facilities.
