On this last day of the month, the DFA reports no new updates on COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad.

To date, the total number of confirmed cases is at 13,960; total fatalities at 950; total recoveries at 8,919; and total DOH IHR verified cases remains at 3,561.

The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.

COVID-19 ALERT:

59 NEW COVID-19 CASES, ONE (1) DEATH, AND 156 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
 
As of 9 AM today, January 31, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 14,027, total recoveries at 13,155 (93.78%) and total deaths at 179 (1.28%). This brings the total active cases to 693 (4.94%). 

A total of 59 new cases were recorded out of 832 laboratory samples tested in the two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, and the DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 437 laboratory results. Of these, 413 are negative and 24 are positive (with 23 new cases and 1 re-swab) for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 395 laboratory results. Of these, 355 are negative and 40 are positive (with 36 new cases and 4 re-swabs) for COVID-19.

Today, the DFA received reports of 19 new COVID-19 cases, 23 new recoveries and 1 new fatality among Filipino nationals abroad. 

Compared to last week’s percentages, the total number of COVID-19 fatalities and those under treatment saw a slight decrease to 6.86% and 29.15%, respectively. Meanwhile, the number of recoveries slightly increased to 63.99%.

Today, the DFA reports 49 new COVID-19 cases, 8 new recoveries, and no new fatality among Filipinos abroad. To date, the total number of countries and territories with confirmed cases among Filipinos remains at 84.

The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amidst the pandemic.

Today, the DFA confirms 29 new cases and 17 new recoveries in Asia and the Pacific and Europe. Meanwhile, no new COVID-19 fatality was reported. 

To date, the Middle East and Africa remains to be the region with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, recoveries, under treatment, and fatalities among our nationals. The Americas remains to have the least numbers in all categories compared to other geographic regions, except in the total number of deaths, wherein Asia and the Pacific ranks lowest with a total of only 21.

Today, the DFA received 22 new COVID-19 reports in the Americas. Meanwhile, no new recovery and no new fatality were recorded.

Compared to last week’s percentages, the total number of COVID-19 fatalities and recoveries saw a slight decrease to 6.81% and 63.89%, respectively. Meanwhile, the those under treatment slightly increased to 29.31%.

60 NEW COVID-19 CASES, THREE (3) DEATHS AND 386 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
 
As of 9 AM today, January 24, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 13, 469, total recoveries at 12, 576 (93.37%) and total deaths at 173 (1.28%). This brings the total active cases to 720 (5.35%). 

A total of 60 new cases were recorded out of 1,004 laboratory samples tested in the two (2) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, and the DWHVL.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 508 laboratory results. Of these, 476 are negative, and 32 are positive (with 31 new case and 1 re-swab) for COVID-19.

As of 9AM today, January 25, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 13,497, total recoveries at 12,705 (94.13%), and total deaths at 176 (1.30%). This brings the total active cases to 616 (4.56%).

A total of 28 new cases were recorded out of 307 laboratory samples tested in one (1) COVID-19 laboratory in the region, the DWHVL.

58 NEW COVID-19 CASES, AND 105 RECOVERIES RECORDED TODAY
 
As of 9 AM today, January 26, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 13, 553, total recoveries at 12, 810 (94.52%) and total deaths at 176 (1.30%). This brings the total active cases to 567 (4.18%). 

A total of 58 new cases were recorded out of 704 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and the Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 461 laboratory results. Of these, 427 are negative, and 34 are positive (with 31 new cases and 3 re-swabs) for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 196 laboratory results. Of these, 180 are negative and 16 are positive (with 15 new cases and 1 re-swab) for COVID-19.

The Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center has released also a total of 47 laboratory results with 35 negative and 12 positive for COVID-19.

As of 10 AM today, January 27, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 13,655, total recoveries at 12,854 (94.13 %) and total deaths at 177 (1.30%). This brings the total active cases to 624 (4.57%). 

A total of 102 new cases were recorded out of 1280 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and the Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 777 laboratory results. Of these, 729 are negative, and 48 are positive (with 46 new cases and 2 re-swabs) for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 411 laboratory results. Of these, 362 are negative and 49 are positive (with 43 new cases and 6 re-swabs) for COVID-19.

The Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center has released also a total of 92 laboratory results with 78 negative and 14 positive (with 13 new cases and 1 re-swab) for COVID-19.

As of 9 AM today, January 28, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 13,732, total recoveries at 12,884 (93.82%) and total deaths at 178 (1.30%). This brings the total active cases to 670 (4.88%). 

A total of 79 new cases were recorded out of 1,090 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and the Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 529 laboratory results. Of these, 494 are negative, and 35 are positive (with 34 new cases and 1 re-swab) for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 402 laboratory results. Of these, 374 are negative and 28 are positive (with 23 new cases, 1 re-infection, and 4 re-swabs) for COVID-19.

As of 12 PM today, January 29, 2021, the Department of Health- Eastern Visayas reports the region’s total number of COVID-19 cases at 13,816, total recoveries at 12,932 (93.60%) and total deaths at 178 (1.29%). This brings the total active cases to 706 (5.11%). 

A total of 87 new cases were recorded out of 886 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and the Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 450 laboratory results. Of these, 417 are negative, and 33 are positive (with 32 new cases and 1 re-swab) for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 368 laboratory results. Of these, 324 are negative and 44 are positive (with 40 new cases and 4 re-swabs) for COVID-19.

A total of 159 new cases were recorded out of 1,142 laboratory samples tested in the three (3) COVID-19 laboratories in the region, the EVRCTC, DWHVL, and the Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.

The EVRCTC has released a total of 645 laboratory results. Of these, 544 are negative, 2 invalid, and are 99 positive for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DWHVL has released a total of 396 laboratory results. Of these, 348 are negative and 48 are positive (with 39 new cases, 1 re-infection, and 8 re-swabs) for COVID-19.
